The Important Stuff

We know, when the summer sun hits, we too just want to get out on the water to enjoy every ray of Vitamin D we can possibly soak in....we totally get it!...but, before you choose your kayak to get started on your next summer outing, take a few minutes to watch the videos below and read our recommendations.

Psssst....it's kind of mandatory, so be prepared for a pop quiz when picking up your kayak ***

***just kidding, there will be no quiz....but seriously though...do take a few minutes to review, so we can be sure you're prepared for your paddling adventure.

For safety reasons, we do not permit individual kayak rentals.  When planning your adventure on the water, please bring a friend or two.

All renters should arrive 30 minutes early to fill out the required rental agreement and waiver, and go over any questions you may have.  We wouldn't want the boring stuff to interfere with your paddle time!

First, we love that you're here!

We can't wait to help you get on the water and paddling, so you too can soak in the beauty of this little paradise we call home.  To make sure you have the best experience ever, we've come up with a list of things we'll provide for you, as well as a list of things to keep in mind when planning your kayaking adventure.

Here's what we've included with your rental:

* Adult sized (XS-S/M-L/XL-XXL) PFD's

* Boating safety kit (includes bailer bucket, whistle, nylon rope & float, LED flashlight)

* Watertight cellphone pouch or fanny pack

* Map of local shoreline, highlighting some beautiful or unique areas to visit

Here's some things to consider when planning your trip:

* Bring closed-toe water shoes to prevent cuts or scrapes from beach rock or seashells.

* Bring along a water-tight duffle bag with a change of clothing.  It's always good to have extra when playing in water.

* Bring a bottle of drinking water.

* We recommend you wear Sunscreen, Sunglasses, and possibly a ball cap.  We rarely ever realize how intense the sun can be on the open water.

* Bring great weather and an even better mood!
